What are the advantages of bidirectional charging of electric vehicles?

With bidirectional charging, the high-voltage battery of a Battery Electric Vehicle is used as an intermediate storage device for electrical energy. With a compatible charger or when using a suitable adapter, you can feed electrical energy from the vehicle's high-voltage battery into your household ("Vehicle-to-Home (V2H)"), or use it to charge external electrical devices ("Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)").
