Many different charging networks are available in the United States. To make charging easier, drivers can create accounts through the My BMW App with Electrify America and Shell Recharge to get access to all major networks in North America and over 180,000 chargers. There is no longer a need for multiple apps for most charging networks. With your BMW electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, you receive access to all open, public charging networks.
The My BMW App and your BMW navigation system will provide locations of charging stations, including a Live Status on the station. You can then navigate to the station and charge your vehicle.
