How do I deactivate the warning signal when the current speed limit changes in my BMW with BMW Operating System 9?

The driver assistance system "Speed Limit Info" in your BMW with BMW Operating System 9 warns you by means of a visual and acoustic signal if the detected speed limit is exceeded or the speed limit changes. You can activate or deactivate the warning signal using the SET button on the steering wheel. Press and hold the SET button until a Check Control message is displayed.

To change other settings for Speed Limit Info, select the following in BMW iDrive:

  1. Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle"
  3. "Driving settings"
  4. "Driver Assistance"
  5. "Driving"
  6. "Speed Limit Assistant"
  7. Select your desired setting.
