Can the Steering Assistant detect roadwork lane markings in my BMW?

The camera-based Steering Assistant in your BMW can generally detect the road's lane markings and automatically keeps your BMW centered in its lane at all speeds. In confusing situations or in extreme weather, the system may ask the driver to take over. You can reduce the sensitivity of the Steering Assistant for safety reasons or temporarily deactivate the system.
