How does the Speed Limit Assistant work in my BMW?

Speed Limit Assistant detects when a speed limit changes and allows you to automatically or manually adopt the new speed limit as your new set speed for functions such as the Dynamic Cruise Control or Distance Control.  If your BMW does not have the Distance Control (ACC with Stop&Go) function, or if it is deactivated, the Speed Limit Assistant takes over the speed for the speed limiter.
