How do I set the strength of the steering intervention of the Lane Departure Warning in my BMW with BMW Operating System 7?

Lane Departure Warning warns you if your vehicle is about to leave the road or lane by means of a vibration in the steering wheel and by displaying warnings in the instrument cluster. To adjust the vibration level of the steering intervention via the Lane Departure Warning in your BMW with BMW Operating System 7, select the following in BMW iDrive:

 

  1. "CAR"
  2. "Settings"
  3. "Driver Assistance"
  4. "Steering Wheel Feedback"
  5. "Vibration level"
  6. Select the desired setting. 

 

Please note: The setting is applied to all Intelligent Safety systems.
