How do I activate Cruise Control in my BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7?

In your BMW with Operating System 7, you can activate the speed control system with the 'Cruise control' button on the left steering wheel. You can deactivate the speed control system by pressing the button again or by pressing the brake pedal. By pressing the "RESUME"/"RES" button on the steering wheel, your BMW increases or decreases the speed to the last saved setting.
