The seamless interaction results from the combination of modern assistance technology and the active involvement of the driver. BMW Symbiotic Drive continuously detects and interprets the driver’s intentions by monitoring what they are looking at or paying attention to via the interior camera, for example. Importantly, not every driver action leads to the deactivation of an assistance function. The driver can intuitively intervene at any time, while the supporting functions continue to assist the driving task in a harmonious way. The result is a driving experience that feels natural, smooth, and fully controlled.
