How do I set the warning time of Active Blind Spot Detection in my BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7?

Active Blind Spot Detection detects vehicles in the blind spot or vehicles approaching from behind in the adjacent lane. The warning light in the exterior mirror warns the driver at different levels.

 

Setting the warning time:

  1. "CAR"
  2. "Settings"
  3. "Driver Assistance"
  4. "Safety and Warnings"
  5. "Active Blind Spot Detection"
  6. Select the desired setting.
