How do I deactivate the warnings when exceeding the current speed limit in my BMW with Operating System 7?

The Speed Limit Info in your BMW with Operating System 7 gives a visual warning and if necessary an acoustic warning if you exceed the speed limit. It can be deactivated for the current trip by pressing the "SET" button on the steering wheel. Alternatively, deactivate the warnings via the menu:

  • "Driver Assistance"
  • "Driving"
  • "Speed Limit Assistant" 
  • "Warning if exceeded".
