Does my BMW have any open recalls?

You can find out if your BMW has any open recalls by visiting www.bmwusa.com/recall and entering your vehicle identification number (VIN).

The VIN can be found on the driver’s side dashboard where the windshield glass meets the hood or by the driver’s side door jamb.

Alternatively, you can find whether your vehicle is affected by a recall through the My BMW App.  First, ensure you have the latest version of the My BMW App.
1.  Open the My BMW App.
2.  Choose the car/shopping bag icon (fourth icon on the bottom).
3.  In the Service and Maintenance header, click the right arrow.
4.  Under "More" choose "Recalls & Campaigns"

Please note:  Recall repairs are performed free of charge at any authorized BMW Center.
