Can I continue to use the BMW Digital Key after my smartphone has turned itself off due to insufficient battery charge?

Yes. Depending on your smartphone, you can still use the BMW Digital Key for up to 5 hours after your smartphone has switched off due to insufficient battery charge. Please note: "Express Mode" must be activated for the BMW Digital Key.
