How do I deactivate the contactless unlocking of my BMW with Operating System 8.5 at home?

Please note: You must first have set your home address in the navigation system of your BMW to deactivate contactless unlocking at home.

To prevent the contactless unlocking of your BMW equipped with Comfort Access and Operating System 8.5 at your home address when you approach the locked vehicle with the vehicle key, or locking when you move away from the unlocked vehicle with the vehicle key, select the following in BMW iDrive:

 

  • Apps menu
  • "Vehicle"
  • "Doors and windows"
  • "Comfort Access"
  • Select "Exclude home".
