Yes, if you're the original owner of a BMW Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle, you can transfer your warranty to a private buyer.
You must complete the BMW Certified Limited Warranty Transfer Application and submit the form and all supporting documentation (see checklist below) via mail to:

Required: Copy of documentation evidencing change of ownership and mileage at time of sale.
*Acceptable documentation includes a bill of sale and/or copy of title application.
Required: Notarized Seller Statement (see below) affirming the vehicle is BMW Certified.
Required: $200 warranty transfer fee; check payable to BMW of North America, LLC.
*Cash and Credit Card payments CANNOT be accepted.
This vehicle must meet current BMW Certified guidelines for transfer eligibility:
Vehicle must have originally been sold as BMW Certified on or after January 1, 2014.
At time of proposed transfer, the BMW Certified Limited Warranty must be in effect, that is, the vehicle is within age & mileage limits.
Vehicle must not have been totaled, stolen, exported from the US, or imported to the US from another country.
The BMW Certified Limited Warranty is only eligible to be transferred from private owner to private owner.
Transfer must be requested by the Buyer of the BMW Certified vehicle.
Transfer application must be submitted by the BMW Certified Buyer within 60 days of vehicle sale.
Dealership participation is excluded.
BMW of North America, LLC reserves the right to refuse transfer in the case of fraud, abuse, failure to meet transfer guidelines, or if the appropriate documentation is not submitted.
