Does the intelligent charging flap of the 2027 BMW iX3 open automatically at private charging stations?

Yes. The intelligent charging flap uses artificial intelligence (AI) to detect intention to connect to a charger.  It is based on a learning system and recognizes parking at a known charging location. The known charging locations include the charging stations stored in the vehicle's navigation system and the charging stations stored in the location-based charging settings, e.g., your private Wallbox at home or at work.
