How do I start and end the discharging process in the 2027 BMW iX3 in order to use the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) functions of bidirectional charging?

To start the "Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)" or "Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V)" functions for bidirectional charging of the 2027 BMW iX3, open the charging flap and connect the discharge adapter or the Multifunction Charger to the high-voltage charging socket of the BMW iX3. The color of the charging status indicator on the high-voltage charging socket changes from white to yellow and the discharge adapter is locked. After a short time, the color of the charging status indicator changes to pulsating blue and the discharging function is ready for use. To end the discharging process, press the charging cable release button. The color of the charging status indicator on the high-voltage charging socket briefly lights up yellow and then permanently white. The discharge adapter or the Multifunction Charger can then be unplugged. Please note: When using the discharge adapter for the first time, a message appears in the vehicle after plugging in to select the current country and the corresponding voltage. The discharging process is not terminated by locking the vehicle. The discharging process ends automatically after 24 hours or when the state of charge set as the lower charge limit of the high-voltage battery is reached. Please note: To use the "Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)" or "Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V)" functions, the BMW iX3 requires the optional corresponding discharge adapter.
