What personal data and settings for my BMW ID does the 2027 BMW iX3 store in the BMW Cloud?

So long as you have provided appropriate consents, the personal data and settings for your BMW ID in the 2027 BMW iX3 are continuously stored in the BMW Cloud and synchronized in the My BMW App and My BMW portal, where applicable, per the BMW USA Terms and Privacy Policy.

 

These are available in every vehicle with BMW Operating System X. If the synchronization of personal data and settings with the BMW Cloud is activated for your BMW ID in the vehicle, the settings from the following areas, for example, are synchronized continuously:

  • BMW ID: e.g., the profile image.
  • Navigation: e.g., recent destinations, the home address or the map settings.
  • Media: e.g., the favorites.
  • BMW Panoramic iDrive: e.g., the main menu configuration or the language.
  • Intelligent Personal Assistant: e.g., the suggestions or the wake word.
  • Exterior lighting: e.g., one-touch signaling and pathway lighting.

 

Please note: If two vehicles equipped with Operating System X share the same BMW ID, changes to their individual settings should not affect the other vehicle’s settings. Certain settings for climate comfort and Driver Assistance as well as privacy settings are only transferred to the vehicle when you log in for the first time.
