Why don’t the button icons on the Shy Tech operating elements on the steering wheel of the 2027 BMW iX3 light up constantly and in different colors?

The availability of functions or assistance systems in the 2027 BMW iX3 changes depending on the driving situation and operating state. The button icons on the Shy Tech operating elements on the steering wheel only light up when the respective function is available. If the icon is not illuminated, the function cannot be used. When the icon lights up white, the function is available and ready for use. When the icon lights up green, it should be active and engaged.
