Some driver assistance functions are only available in the 2027 BMW iX3 in conjunction with navigation via BMW Maps and not in conjunction with Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. These include parts of the Route Speed Control and automated lane changes based on active guidance. In addition, active guidance via BMW Maps enables optimum preparation of the high-voltage battery before charging processes and anticipatory energy management. In conjunction with the My BMW App, information on charging stations, including estimated charging times, is used to optimize route planning. Some Driver Assistance features are available only in the 2027 BMW iX3 when you use BMW Maps with active guidance and are not supported with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This includes certain Route Speed Control functions and automated lane changes based on active guidance.
Using BMW Maps with active guidance also helps prepare the high-voltage battery for fast charging ahead of charging stops. The “route optimized for charging” feature takes this a step further by automatically adding charging stations along your route when BMW Maps. With the My BMW App, charging station data, including estimated charging times, is used to improve route planning.
