Does the 2022 BMW iX or 2026 BMW iX unlock automatically with the Digital Key Plus on my smartphone?

With the option "Comfort Access", the 2022 BMW iX and 2026 BMW iX unlock automatically with the BMW Digital Key or BMW Digital Key Plus on your compatible smartphone or Apple Watch when you approach, start a welcome scenario and activate all functions for starting the vehicle.

 

Please Note: Data transfer with the BMW Digital Key Plus takes place via "ultra-wideband" (UWB) and Bluetooth®.
