How intuitively can I operate the innovative technology in the 2022 BMW iX and 2026 BMW iX?

The innovative technology of the 2022 BMW iX and 2026 BMW iX is used intelligently and only appears when it is needed. All displays and operating elements are reduced to the essentials. The BMW Curved Display, which is driver-oriented, optimizes the display of information and facilitates intuitive touch operation. The instrument cluster features new, highly customizable display options that provide the driver with precise information that is adapted to the respective situation. The functionality of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant has been significantly expanded. The BMW Head-up display projects relevant driving information in graphically prepared form onto the windshield and thus directly into the driver's field of view. The hexagonal steering wheel with newly designed multifunction buttons enlarges the driver's visual field to the display area of the Curved Display directly behind the steering wheel and is designed for switching between automated and active driving. 

 

Please note:  Integral Active Steering is optional on the 2026 iX xDrive45 and iX xDrive60 (as part of the Dynamic Handling Package).
