What is the seat comfort like in the rear of the 2022 BMW iX and 2026 BMW iX?

The rear of the 2022 BMW iX and 2026 BMW iX is designed for three occupants. All three seats have integrated head restraints. The rear seat backrest can be divided in a 40:20:40 ratio. The removal of the central tunnel also allows the rear passengers more legroom. A Travel & Comfort system has been integrated into the front seats that can be used by occupants in the rear to attach coat hooks or hold tablet devices. A pair of USB-C ports can also be found in each of the front head restraints. There is the option of integrating speakers into the seats as well as, seat heating and seat ventilation. The optionally available panoramic glass sunroof also contributes to a generous sense of space in the rear and offers the occupants maximum headroom because no sliding interior roof is used.
