How is the BMW Head-up display in the 2022 BMW iX and 2026 BMW iX designed?

The BMW Head-up display complements the fully digital display cluster of the Curved Display in the 2022 BMW iX and 2026 BMW iX and projects relevant driving information onto the windshield and thus directly into the driver's field of view. The projector of the BMW Head-up display is flush with the surface, frameless and thus invisibly integrated into the surface of the instrument panel. The BMW Head-up display includes information about driving speed, speed limits and passing bans, Check Control messages, status displays and warnings from the driver assistance systems, detailed guidance and turning directions, as well as telephone and entertainment lists. Display angle, height and brightness of the display can be configured individually.
