Does the infotainment system in my 2022 BMW iX and 2026 BMW iX have HD radio reception?

Your 2022 BMW iX and 2023 BMW iX comes with HD radio reception as standard. HD Radio is a digital radio system that enables radio stations to transmit their broadcasts in a quality that is better than via analog signals. When setting a station with a digital signal, it may take a few seconds before the station plays in digital quality.

In areas in which the station is not continuously received in digital mode, the playback switches between analog and digital reception. In this case, turn off digital radio reception.

The displayed names of these HD stations end with ...HD or...HD1.

In areas in which the station is not continuously received in digital mode, there may be interruptions of the audible signal lasting several seconds. The duration of the interruption depends on the reception.

The displayed names of these HD radio multicast stations end with HD2, HD3, etc.
