What are the "My Modes" in my BMW iX?

The My Modes change the vehicle handling and the appearance of displays and lighting in your BMW iX. Depending on the equipment, you can choose from up to seven different modes: "Personal", "Sport", "Efficient", "Expressive", "Relax", "Digital Art" and "Silent". In the individual modes, numerous features in the interior together with some driving dynamics settings form a coherent overall picture. Inside, in addition to the lighting and acoustic environment, the display in the instrument cluster also changes. The My Mode "Personal" allows individual adjustments. You can configure the layout and content of the instrument cluster, but also the "ambient light". Active Sound Design is also available, depending on the engine variant. It generates the corresponding characteristic engine sound in the interior to match the selected My Mode. In addition to the interior, the drive and suspension also adapt to the desired characteristics. In My Mode "Sport", your BMW iX reacts more directly and the steering is firmer, while in "Efficient" mode the driving characteristics are trimmed to efficiency. With the "Expressive" and "Relax" modes, you can design the atmosphere in the interior according to your wishes. The "Expressive" mode focuses on expressive graphic representations. Relaxation is provided by the "Relax" mode, including day and night view. The "Digital Art" mode stands for an exclusive, artistic presentation. "Silent" Mode creates a calm atmosphere in the dashboard that is completely focused on concentrated driving. In order to minimize additional influences on the driver, the entertainment functions, the displays on the control display and the displays in the instrument cluster are reduced to a minimum.
