What are the "Great Entrance Moments" in my vehicle with BMW iDrive and BMW Operating System 8?

"Great Entrance Moments" is the name given to the user experience from the point when the driver first approaches their BMW until until the journey commences. Your vehicle with BMW Operating System 8 uses ultra-wideband wireless technology (UWB) for precise location of the link between vehicle and key or smartphone. The vehicle wakes up at a distance of 10 feet and activates a light scenario consisting of front and rear lights as well as in the interior. A light carpet shows the way to the entry area. Door handles and the tailgate handle are also illuminated. When you get in, the vehicle loads the personal settings of the BMW ID and connects the smartphone.
