How do I remove the connection of a Game Controller in my BMW with BMW Operating System 9?

If you turn off the Game Controller, the Bluetooth® connection with your BMW is automatically removed. 

 

Alternatively, perform the following to remove a game controller paired with the vehicle:

  1. Apps menu
  2. "All"
  3. "Game controllers".
  4. Press and hold the desired game controller in the list.
  5. "Remove device". The selected game controller is removed from the list.

 

A game controller that has been removed from the list can only be reconnected and used after it is paired again. Please note: To minimize driver distraction, the function is restricted in certain situations for safety reasons.
