How do I activate or deactivate spoken instructions of the navigation system in my BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7?

When guidance of the navigation system in your BMW with BMW iDrive Operating System 7 is active, spoken instructions can be issued for the respective maneuvers. 

 

Perform the following to activate or deactivate voice guidance: 

  1. Press the button on the Controller.
  2. Tilt the Controller to the right.
  3. “Voice guidance”
