How do I use BMW voice control when I have connected my Apple iPhone via Apple CarPlay?

You can continue to use voice control in your BMW normally if you have connected your Apple iPhone via Apple CarPlay. You start the activation via the microphone button or "Hey BMW" and can then control a variety of functions such as navigation. The range of functions of some services is extended with the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, provided the respective service is active. The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant works with BMW iDrive Operating System 7 or newer.
