How do I activate Apple Siri voice control for Apple CarPlay in my vehicle with BMW iDrive and BMW Operating System 8?

Your vehicle with BMW iDrive and Operating System 8 recognizes Apple Siri voice control for Apple CarPlay by using the activation word "Hey Siri" without pressing the microphone button on the steering wheel. Please note that you must confirm this function when initializing Apple CarPlay in your BMW or in the system settings of BMW iDrive with BMW Operating System 8.
