What are the benefits of Terrain View in my BMW with BMW Operating System 9?

Terrain View improves orientation on uneven terrain by showing relevant vehicle information in real time on the control display. The function is integrated into Live Vehicle and dynamically adapts the display to the driving situation. Depending on the equipment, Terrain View displays the longitudinal and lateral inclination of your BMW, the steering angle, the self-leveling suspension and the geographical altitude. In BMW models with xDrive, the power distribution to all four wheels is also visualized. The clear display of this information gives you more precise control over your vehicle, which is particularly beneficial in demanding driving situations or when driving off-road.

 

Please Note: Terrain View is available for BMW models with BMW Operating System 9 and BMW Digital Premium.
