In your 2024 BMW i7 M70 xDrive, the Sport Boost function immediately adjusts all relevant systems of the vehicle to maximum sportiness with just one button. To activate the Sport Boost function, pull and hold the left shift paddle with the inscription "BOOST". The Sport Boost function is indicated by its own lettering in the M specific instrument cluster. The "Boost Reserve" display informs about the availability of the electric boost power.
Perform the following on the steering wheel to activate the Sport Boost function:
- SPORT BOOST: Pull the shift paddle until display appears.
- The function is active.
- A countdown is displayed on the instrument cluster.
- Before the countdown changes to 0, press the accelerator pedal.
- The vehicle accelerates and uses the additional power provided as necessary.
- BOOST: this display is shown on the instrument cluster.
- The instrument cluster shows how long the additional power is available.
The countdown can be restarted, for example if the function cannot be used immediately.
To restart the countdown, pull the shift paddle again.
