How can I reduce charging losses when charging my 2024 BMW i5?

Charging losses may occur when charging your 2024 BMW i5. These depend on various factors, such as the charging capacity, the charging type (AC, DC), the state of charge or the temperature of the battery. To reduce charging losses, BMW recommends preconditioning the battery of your vehicle and charging it preferably in a range between 20% and 80% of its capacity.
