Has the high-voltage battery in the BMW i3 Sedan, available in the US starting 2027, been revised?

The 6th generation of BMW eDrive technology in the BMW i3 includes a new drive with a fundamentally new high-voltage battery concept with round cells. It offers significantly higher ranges, even faster charging, 800 V technology enabling ultra-fast DC charging capacities of up to 400 kW, and bidirectional charging functionality.
