Does BMW Maps in my BMW electric vehicle with Operating System 8 or newer accept a "route optimized for charging" planned in the My BMW App?

Yes.  Your BMW electric vehicle with Operating System 8 or newer only takes over the destination from a "route optimized for charging" planned in the My BMW App when sent to the vehicle. In the vehicle, BMW Maps re-plans the fastest route based on the current vehicle condition, the current traffic situation and available charging stations along the route. Please note: The "route optimized for charging" (eRoute) function is only available in BMW electric vehicles with BMW Operating System 8 or newer.
