According to which criteria does BMW Maps plan an eRoute for my BMW electric vehicle with BMW Operating System 8?

BMW Maps always plans the fastest route for your BMW electric vehicle with BMW Operating System 8. If the remaining amount of energy is not sufficient to reach the destination, BMW Maps recommends charging stops along the route with the shortest possible charging time for the earliest possible arrival. Please note: The "route optimized for charging" (eRoute) function is only available in BMW electric vehicles with BMW Operating System 8.
