Can I attach a trailer hitch to my 2023 BMW XM?

The 2023 BMW XM has an optional trailer hitch with electrically swiveling ball head. The electrically swiveling ball head is not visible when stowed under the rear apron.

 

The mount for the trailer hitch is located on the rear of the vehicle. Information on suitable trailer hitches is found on the underside of the mount.
