How do I adjust the air distribution in my 2024 BMW X5 or 2024 BMW X6?

To adjust the air distribution in your 2024 BMW X5 or 2024 BMW X6, move the levers on the air vents in the desired direction. Turn the lever to open and close the air vents. The air flow can be adjusted via the climate menu on the iDrive screen. 

 

Perform the following to adjust the air distribution: 

  1. Tap the icon for the Climate menu on the menu bar.
  2. Tap the air distribution icon on the climate control functions bar.
  3. Select the desired setting:
    • Aim the air flow into the footwell
    • Aim the air flow toward the upper body area
    • Aim the air flow at the windshield

The selected air distribution is displayed.

 

You can also adjust the air distribution of the rear climate control by pressing the upper or lower side of the button and selecting the desired setting. The selected air distribution will appear on the rear climate control display.
