Which voice assistants can I use in my 2024 BMW X2?

In your 2024 BMW X2, you have the option to use the following voice assistants:

  • BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant
  • Amazon Alexa
  • Apple Siri (in conjunction with Apple CarPlay via smartphone connection)
  • Google Assistant (in conjunction with Android Auto via smartphone connection)

The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant is optimized for operation of various vehicle functions by voice. It responds to your mobility requirements, taking into account the vehicle condition and the outside world and proactively proposes functions. Among other things, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant can control the following:

  • BMW navigation system
  • Air conditioning
  • Lighting
  • Audio system
  • Windows
  • My Modes
  • Driving assistance systems

In addition, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant constantly learns your routines and habits. You can additionally set individual routines, such as at which locations the window should open automatically.

 

Please note: To use the full range of functions of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, you need the optional "BMW Digital Premium" offer, which can be purchased in the ConnectedDrive Store. You must be logged in with your driver profile (BMW ID) and all relevant voice and learning functions must be activated in the Privacy menu.

The ranges of functions of the various voice assistants differ.
