What is new about the BMW iDrive operating system in the 2024 BMW X1?

The 2024 BMW X1 comes as standard with the new generation of the BMW iDrive operating system "BMW Operating System 9" with extended personalization based on your BMW ID. Operation is intuitive via the touchscreen of the 10.7" control display or alternatively via voice control of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant with extended range of functions. The displays in the Info Display and BMW Head-up display can be configured using the steering wheel buttons. Improved menu structure, shortcuts for frequently used functions and freely configurable widgets allow functions to be recorded and executed faster. Regular BMW Remote Software Upgrades keep your BMW X1 up to date.
