What advantages does BMW iDrive with BMW Operating System 9 offer in the 2024 BMW X1 M35i xDrive?

With a new graphics interface and an optimized menu structure, BMW iDrive with BMW Operating System 9 in the 2024 BMW X1 M35i is even more consistently geared towards operation via touch display and natural language. The BMW Curved Display continues to serve as an action surface for the multisensory experience via BMW iDrive. The start screen on the BMW Curved Display becomes a permanently visible graphical user interface. As an alternative to the map view of the navigation system, you can also permanently display My Modes and Android Auto or Apple CarPlay in fullscreen mode. You can arrange important functions and apps as live widgets on top of each other in the graphical user interface and select them directly. With the "QuickSelect" quick link, you can switch directly between entertainment programs, contact lists and vehicle settings as well as interaction with the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant by touch. A tap on the home icon at the bottom of the control display takes you back to the start screen from each application. In combination with the optional "BMW Digital Premium" offer, you have access to an expanded BMW ConnectedDrive Store with BMW ConnectedDrive Upgrades and a constantly growing range of third-party apps. BMW Remote Software Upgrades regularly update the vehicle software, vehicle functions and apps.
