What is "Proactive Care"?

Proactive Care is a service promise for service and maintenance work on your BMW and is included in the scope of your BMW ConnectedDrive contract at no extra cost. Your vehicle proactively recognizes a service requirement or a problem and reports this to you via your preferred communication channel and to your BMW Center. Depending on your needs, you may be notified via a message in the My BMW App, an in-car notification, email from preferred BMW Center, or by a call from Roadside Assistance. Proactive Care helps to improve the customer’s service experience – from self-help tips (e.g., how to solve a problem via a Remote Software Upgrade) to flexible support to guarantee mobility.  You can arrange service appointments with your BMW Center using Online Appointment Scheduling in the My BMW App. The scope of the work carried out, its costs, and the expected delivery date are transparent to you.
