Which voice assistants can I use in my 2025 BMW M5 Sedan or my 2025 BMW M5 Touring?

In your 2025 BMW M5 Sedan or 2025 BMW M5 Touring, you can use the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant or the Amazon Alexa voice assistant. You can use Apple Siri (in conjunction with Apple CarPlay) or Google Assistant (in conjunction with Android Auto) via your connected smartphone. Please note: The ranges of functions of the various voice assistants differ.

 

The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant is optimized for operation of various vehicle functions by voice. It responds to your mobility requirements, taking into account the vehicle condition and the outside world and proactively proposes functions. Among other things, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant can control the air conditioning, lighting, audio system, windows and the operation of various driving assistance systems. In addition, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant constantly learns your routines and habits. You can additionally set individual routines, such as at which locations the window should open automatically.

 

Please note: To use the full range of functions of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, you must be logged in with your driver profile (BMW ID) and all relevant voice and learning functions must be activated in the Privacy menu.
