How do I use M MODE in my 2025 BMW M5 Sedan?

With M MODE in your 2025 BMW M5 Sedan, you can adjust the driver assistance and Intelligent Safety systems, depending on the situation. The displays in the instrument cluster and the view of the BMW Head-up display change depending on the selected drive mode.

 

Press the "M MODE" button in the center console and select one of the three M modes "ROAD", "SPORT" or "TRACK" (depending on the equipment) on the control display.

 

Please Note: 

  • ROAD and SPORT drive modes can only be enabled when drive-ready state is switched on.
  • TRACK drive mode can only be enabled when the vehicle is stationary or driving at a very low speed.
  • The M mode "Track" is available with the option "M Drive Professional".
