What advantages does M xDrive offer in the 2025 BMW M3 Sedan?

M xDrive distributes the drive torque continuously and fully variably between the front and rear wheels, whereby the driving power is mainly directed to the rear wheels in normal driving situations. The system is connected with the active M differential and the integrated M specific traction control to maximize the dynamic driving experience. There are three modes for customizing the characteristics and performance of the all-wheel drive: 4WD, 4WD Sport and 2WD. The preferred mode can be saved together with other vehicle settings in the individual M Drive configurations.
