How do I use M Traction Control in my 2025 BMW M3 Sedan?

With the ten-step M Traction Control, you can regulate the slip on the drive wheels of your 2025 BMW M3 Sedan for controlled drift maneuvers.

 

Perform the following to change the step:

  1. Press the SETUP button in the center console
  2. Select "M Traction Control" 
  3. Select the desired setting:
    • OFF/Level 0: support switched off. Wheels may spin strongly with severe oversteering.
    • Level 10: maximum support. Wheels may spin slightly with slight oversteering.

Your changes are active immediately. You will see the icons "DSC OFF", "2WD" and the active level for M Traction Control in the instrument cluster for confirmation. 

 

Please note: M Traction Control is only available in M xDrive mode "2WD" and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) must be deactivated.
