How has the operation via the multifunction controls for steering wheel been improved with the 2027 BMW 7 Series and 2027 BMW i7?

With the 2027 BMW 7 Series and 2027 BMW i7, the interactive multifunction buttons on the steering wheel have a new, active haptic feedback through the integrated touchpad. The relief-style button surfaces on the multifunction controls for steering wheel provide clear orientation and make operation easier. This allows functions to be controlled safely and precisely without taking your eyes off the road.

As part of the BMW "Shy Tech" concept, individual keys on the side of the steering wheel are highlighted by targeted lighting as soon as the respective function is activated.
