How does the new menu structure of the BMW Touch Command in the 2027 BMW 7 Series and 2027 i7 improve operation and access to comfort functions?

With the 2027 BMW 7 Series and 2027 BMW i7, the control interface and menu structure of the BMW Touch Command have been completely redesigned as part of the changeover to the BMW Operating System X. The BMW Touch Command operating unit is integrated in the rear doors on the driver's side and front passenger's side. The system offers clear and intuitive menu guidance with a reduced number of operating elements. The design and operating concept are orientated toward mobile devices with a focus on entertainment.

A swipe from the top screen edge opens the quick access menu, which you can use to conveniently adjust the brightness of the two control units and activate or deactivate wireless charging for your mobile phone. In addition, the system enables quick access to various comfort functions.
