Comfort Access allows you keyless access to your 2024 BMW 5 Series or 2024 BMW i5 with the BMW Digital Key Plus on your compatible smartphone. Your vehicle recognizes where you are approaching and how far you are. As soon as you come within a distance of approximately 5ft, your vehicle begins to wake up and signals this by a welcome scenario using the exterior and interior lighting. The "ambient light" lights up the headliner, the entry area and also illuminates the center console area. A welcome animation starts on the BMW Curved Display.
When you get in, the personal settings for your driver profile (BMW ID) are loaded and your smartphone is connected via Bluetooth®. The control display displays a welcome window with a personal greeting, suggestions for activating or setting up services or information on vehicle functions or available upgrades.
The BMW Digital Key Plus can be set up in the My BMW App. You can share the digital key and access rights with 5-18 other users (depending on Apple iOS).
