What benefits does the BMW Live Cockpit Plus offer in the 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe?

The BMW Live Cockpit Plus is part of the standard equipment of your 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe with BMW Operating System 9. The frameless BMW Curved Display combines a fully digital instrument cluster (10.25 inches) and a touch-enabled control display (10.7 inches) into a single display unit. The easiest way to operate BMW iDrive is by voice using the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. Alternatively, you can control it via buttons on the multifunction steering wheel or by touch directly on the control display. The navigation system learns your habits and displays traffic bulletins, alternative routes and nearby points of interest in real time. You can connect mobile devices via Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi or USB. Smartphone integration allows you to use your favorite smartphone apps via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on the control display. Your 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe receives data from BMW or third-party vehicle app providers via a 4G/LTE-capable SIM card. With the option "Personal eSIM", your BMW supports the 5G mobile radio standard. With regular Remote Software Upgrades, your BMW receives quality improvements and, depending on the country of delivery, model and equipment, new functions or functional improvements over-the-air free of charge. You can save individual settings in your own profile using the BMW ID. You can activate your configurations with the vehicle key, the BMW Digital Key or on the control display. In conjunction with the optional "BMW Digital Premium" offer, you receive extended functions of BMW Maps, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, additional vehicle apps and My Modes as well as third-party apps for music, audio, news, video and gaming for download from the BMW ConnectedDrive Store in your 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe.

Please note: In the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, the personal hotspot and telephone service via the vehicle's external antenna are not yet activated at market introduction. Activation takes place at a later date as part of a Remote Software Upgrade.
